Brookdale graduate, Serene Sophia (Giant’s Causeway/Miss Soft Sell), broke her maiden on Thursday at Del Mar by 1 and a 1/2 lengths.  Serene Sophia was sold in the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale for $280,000.  Bred by Cris Caldwell, Serene Sophia is a half to  Brother Derek, as well as hip 1050, a Bernardini colt being consigned by Brookdale in September.
