Rise Up (3,g, Rockport Harbor/Appenzell) won the Woodchopper Stakes (60k) on Saturday at the Fair Grounds.  Due to the rain, the race was taken off the turf but this did not seem to bother Rise Up as he went wire to wire to win by 3 and 3/4 lengths. Rise Up was bred in Kentucky by Cottonwood Stables LLC and is a graduate of the 2012 Keeneland September Sale.
