Golden Award (4,f, Medaglia d’Oro/Arch’s Gal Edith) started the 2019 season the same way she ended the 2018 season with a trip to the winner’s circle for new owners Summer Wind Equine.  Golden Award sat off the lead for most of the race but took command at the stretch and pulled away to win by 3 and 1/2 lengths.  She now has 3 wins in 6 career starts and earnings of $149,600.  She is the half-sister to 2012 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Winner I’LL HAVE ANOTHER.  Golden Award was bred in Kentucky by Harvey A. Clarke and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm.
