Brookdale Grad Anneau d’Or (Medaglia D’Oro/Walk Close) showed on Friday that not only can he run on the turf but also the dirt after running a huge race to get 2nd in the G1 Breeders Cup Juvenile Stakes at Santa Anita. After breaking his maiden impressively at Golden Gate on 9/29 the colt was not able to draw in to the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf so opted to run on the dirt.  He was bred in Kentucky by Highland Yard LLC and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. He has now earned $358,000 in just 2 career starts.   Anneau d’Or is out of the Graded Stakes winning mare Walk Close.
