On Thursday night, Brookdale Grad VEQUIST (Nyquist/Vero Amore) took home the award for Champion 2 Yr Old Filly at the 2020 Eclipse Awards.  VEQUIST finished the 2020 racing season with 2 wins and 2 second place finishes in 4 lifetime efforts.  Her two victories came in G1 efforts in the G1 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga and in the G1 Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies at Keeneland in November.  She was bred in Kentucky by Swilcan Stables and is owned by the partnership of Swilcan Stables, Gary Barber and Wachtel Stable.
