Mainstay (2,f, Astern (AUS)/Vero Amore) was named a TDN Rising Star on Friday after her dazzling effort in her racing debut at Monmouth. The half sister to 2 Year Old Champion VEQUIST pulled away down the stretch to win by more than 7 lengths.  Mainstay was foaled and raised at Brookdale Farm and is owned by breeder Swilcan Stables in partnership with LC Racing.
