Falling Sky Posts a Bullet Work at Churchill Downs

Kentucky Derby Entry and Brookdale Grad, Falling Sky (3,c, Lion Heart/ Sea Dragoness) posted a bullet work this morning at Churchill Downs breezing five furlongs in 59.60, which was the fastest of 32 works today.

Brookdale Grad Excessiveness Wins at Keeneland

Excessiveness (3,f, Exchange Rate/ Vicki Vallencourt) won yesterday afternoon at Keeneland in a Starter Allowance Race. The three year old filly was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm and was sold at the 2011 Keeneland September Sale for $75,000.

Brookdale Grad Transparent Impressive in Allowance Win

Transparent (3, c, bernardini/ Habiboo) cruised in an Allowance Race at Aqueduct yesterday, winning by 10 and 3/4 lengths. The colt now has 2 wins in 8 career starts and has earnings of $109,784.  Transparent was bred in Florida by Hardacre Farm LLC and was sold at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale for $725,000.

Cigar Street (4, c, Street Sense/ Arcadiana) posted his first graded stakes win on Saturday by winning the Skip Away Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park. The colt sat just off the lead behind Take Charge Indy and Pants on Fire until the stretch and then pulled away to win by two lengths. The colt now has 4 wins in 6 starts with earnings of $182,138.
