Brookdale graduate Sean Avery (Cherokee Run/Latin Lynx,) a 5 yo gelding owned by Black Swan Stables, was 2nd on July 4th in the Mr. Prospector Stakes at MTH.  Sean Avery was bred in Kentucky by Darley Stud and has hit the board in all 4 starts in 2011. Best of luck to the connections.

Two Brookdale Sales graduates from Keeneland September 2010 sale broke their maidens this past week in their first starts. I'll Have Another (Flower Alley/Arch's Gal Edith) broke his maiden at HOL on July 3rd going 5 1/2 furlongs for owner J Paul Reddam.  The 2yo colt was bred in Kentucky by Harvey Clarke. Convocation (h, 5, Pulpit/Shade Dance) was 3rd  in the Easy Goer Stakes at Belmont on Sunday.   This was the 3rd start of the year for Convocation, after coming off a 2nd in the G3 Westchester Stakes.  Convocation was bred in Kentucky by Darley and is owned by Centennial Farms.

Arcadian (Songandaprayer/Abundantly Blessed) won the Golden Circle Stakes on Saturday at Prairie Meadows.

Spring Party (Smart Strike/Surf  Club) won the Wintergreen Stakes on March 12, 2011 at Turfway Park.   The 5 year old mare was bred in Kentucky by International Equities Holding, Inc and sold by Brookdale in KeeSep07 for $150,000.  The win brings her earnings to over $150,000.

California Memory (Highest Honour(FR)/Kalpita) won the million dollar Hong Kong Cup on Sunday at the Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong.  The 5-year-old gelding was bred and raised by Brookdale Farm and was a graduate of the Keeneland September 2007 sale.  California Memory overcame odds of 30-1 to win.
