War Story wins an Allowance at Fair Grounds

War Story wins an Allowance by 2 3/4 lengths on Sunday at Fair Grounds in Race 8.  He was bumped at the start but was well placed down the backstretch. War Story is a chestnut gelding by Northern Afleet out of Belle Watling by Pulpit.  The Brookdale graduate was bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain III. Congratulations to the winning connections.

Consigned by Brookdale Sales Strawberrydaiquiri in foal to Dubawi sells for $1.45 Million

Brookdale Sales, agent for Aislabie Bloodstock consigned Strawberrydaiquiri the eight year old mare by Dansili in foal to Dubawi. She was purchased for $1.45 million on November 5th at the Keeneland November breeding stock sale. Her ticket was signed by Benoit Jeffroy of Mandore International Agency.

Grade 1 Winning Sarah Lynx (IRE) brings $2.6 Million in the Fasig-Tipton November Sale

Canadian grade I winner Sarah Lynx brought over $2 million in the Fasig-Tipton November sale. She was offered in foal to Street Cry and purchased by the Don Alberto Corporation. She won the 2011 Canadian International against the boys and is a seven year old daughter of Montjeu.

Brookdale Selling First Foal of Pomeroys Pistol Monday

Trainer Amy Tarrant, who operates her own Ocala-based breeding and racing operation as Hardacre Farm, enjoyed one of her biggest successes on the track to date with homebred Pomeroys Pistol (Pomeroy), and will look for the star of her broodmare band to provide another big score in the Keeneland September sales ring next week.
